Whether you register to ride or just want to watch, you’ll definitely enjoy the epic Ore to Shore. This 42-mile race takes you along private-owned land and Superior shoreline, all throughout the historic towns of Negaunee, Ishpeming, and Marquette.

It’s no surprise the Marquette ultra marathon is ultra-tough. This course incorperates snaking single-track, steep climbs and rocky shoreline, featuring panoramic views from vistas like Sugarloaf, Top of the World, Bareback, and Hogback.

On August 18, your average Saturday has got some tough competition with classic cars and Third Base Bar. The Marquette Downtown Development Authority linked up with The Base for the second annual summer car show — and to top it off, all proceeds benefit the Women’s Center of Marquette County.
