Spring brings opening day for the Downtown Marquette Farmers Market. Which takes place every Saturday at the Marquette Commons from 9 am to 1 pm (May 15-mid December). Whether you’re there to enjoy the fresh air or explore the various vendors, you’re sure to have a good time and score some great finds.
With the imminent snowmelt and warmer weather, getting outside has never felt better than after a long winter. Spring’s the perfect time to check out the long list of waterfalls Marquette County is home to, take a hike, break out your mountain bike or go for a quick paddle around Presque Isle.
Hitting the breweries or exploring the bar scene is fun any season, but enjoying a drink is arguably more satisfying when you’re outside. Whether you’re feeling a pint, cocktail or coffee, there are over a dozen establishments with patio seating to suit your tastes.
From mid-March to mid-June there are plenty of sweet events to participate in or attend. Like the Spring Holistic Health Fair, U.P. Bee Conference, Festival of the Angry Bear, Big Bay Relay, WAY UP Music Festival and more. For more info on any of these or other opportunities >> visit here.
