The Marquette Mountain Bike Enduro is our kind of fall color tour—and also, the final Enduro leg of the Lake Superior Gravity Series. This year will race on 7 total stages for Open class, 4 for Sport, and 2 for Beginner.
On October 5th Baraga Avenue will be bustling with Harvest-themed activities. Featuring food and drink, live music and dance, a petting zoo, chalk painting and more, you definitely don’t want to miss out on these family-friendly festivities.
The 3rd Annual local food festival features the Farmer’s Harvest Basket Competition, the NMU Alumni Chef Competition, and TONS of locally sourced food and brews (vegetarian options included) from all over the Upper Peninsula.
October 12th, witness an outdoor performance of grand proportions steeped in local culture. A celebration of community and art through pageantry, art installations, pop up performances, percussion, theatrical dance and street parade. The Spectacle is an inclusive and accessible art experience engaging all ages and abilities.
These dogs may not be dashing through the snow, but the fall foliage is definitely a treat. Watch the dogs train and compete throughout these 1-2 mile courses, and even bring your own pup(s) (owners’ discretion advised) on Saturday at 2 pm to try out the equipment and trails!
