Waterfall Week Offers Views and Brews for locals and visitors – April 21 – 27
The return of Waterfall Week to Celebrate the Much Anticipated Spring Thaw
As the proud home to more waterfalls than any other county in the state, with 77, Marquette County is preparing to celebrate the spring thaw that features a superior run off at many of the local waterfalls, encouraging both visitors and locals to stop hibernating and go exploring.
Views and Brews is a celebration of what’s on tap this season, with all of the local breweries featuring a waterfall themed brew, ranging from an ale or IPA to a Saison or Wheat, all locally brewed and aptly named. In addition, those who get out and snap a photo if front of one of the waterfalls and share it at one of the four participating watering holes will receive a free Limited Edition Waterfall Week logoed pint glass (purchase is required and available while supplies last, one per person per visit).
Waterfall Week activities are not limited to the over 21 crowd, there is a great geocaching scavenger hunt open to all ages and offering a chance to win some great prizes. Forms will be available at the Marquette County Convention & Visitors Bureau located downtown at 337 West Washington St. Marquette, MI as well as participating breweries.
